Second Edition: Friday Favorites

Happy FriYAY Everyone!! This is another edition of Friday Favorites, if you missed the first edition you can find it here. I'll do a small little recap of what Friday Favorites is all about and the theme for this month. I enjoy reading others blogs and I love being able to share their content with you especially if what I read might be able to help you out. That's why I started Friday Favorites it's a chance to feature some of my favorite reads of this week in hopes it could benefit you as well. This month’s theme is all about goals, fresh starts, and self-improvement. Last week I was able to share some great ones and this week is no exception. 

It's easy for us to say we want to accomplish this or that but the process of actually taking a step toward those goals is easier said than done. I loved this post because it really teaches you how to break down your goals into smaller steps so they’re more achievable. 

The steps listed in this post are so easy yet so overlooked. I thought it’d be a great reminder for everyone to start doing some of these steps so you can start this year and your days off right.

As you know I love reading but as soon as the semester starts I complain I never have the time. So this year I really want to change that up. I want to start reading for pleasure not because some professor told me to read all of Ch 1-5 in two weeks. Also studies have shown that people don’t read as much once they turn 30. So I think it’s time to change it up.

This is the first time I’ve ever heard of someone doing this but once you read the post you think why not. I’m big on words of affirmation so I thought this would be a great way to keep me motivated throughout the year similar to a mantra. I think this is a great way for anyone who lacks motivation to stay motivated on achieving their goals for the year or even daily goals.

So it’s already the second week and maybe some of us have already broken a few if not all our New Year Resolutions. I like this post because it introduces different ways both new and old towards keeping up with your goals. It also comes with a 16 for 2016 printable if you want to do that.
