Third Edition: Friday Favorites

Happy Friyay!! I kind of fell off the wagon this week with classes, reading, studying, tutoring, three new additions at my house, and blogging it’s really hard to keep track of it all. That’s why I always give a round of applause to mothers because I swear they’re freaking superhuman and the holy grail of time management. I’ll try to do much better but every now and then I will slip up and I think that’s perfectly okay as long as I get back on the wagon. So guys here’s me getting back on the wagon and giving you another edition of Friday Favorites.

We’ve been talking about goals and how to maintain them but we really haven’t discussed about you and how to better your life. So I decided to focus on that. Although it’s great to have goals you can’t forget the very most important thing and that’s you.

If you were following me on my other blog you’d know I’m a huge fan of Living The Dream. Antonio is such a great writer and he’s always coming up with inspiring content that really makes you want to do better with your life.  I love this post because it’s true. It makes you take a step back and realizing you need to start working on yourself. The best invest you’ll ever make is investing in yourself. He gives great examples of how you can start investing yourself more.

It’s that time of year when we all want to go into hibernation with our blankets and Netflix on. Trust me I’m with you right now I’m dreaming about curling up in bed and sleeping till Spring. However realistically we can’t do that we have lives and we have things we must do. So this is post has some great tips to help change your mood a bit.

I believe simplicity is beauty. So why not do things that can help add a little simplicity in your life. You might be thinking well I don’t have the time but what’s a few minutes that could possibly save you hours later on. I think it’s a win-win. You don’t need to do all 21 actions just pick a few to do over the weekend that you think would help you the most. Trust me this could help your productivity or help you become more efficient as a whole.

I really needed this one this week for sure. I thought I’d share it with you all because time management is something we all could work on. There’s no perfect formula and everyone manages their time in different ways. So I think this is a great starting place. Try some of them out and see what works for you and what doesn’t. Come back and let me know how it goes.

The first post stresses on how important it is to work on yourself. This post focuses on how you can start investing in yourself. They’re honestly a great duo to read together.  I think it’s great if you tried doing all these things in a day if not then pick a few to work on and add more to your list. Never forget to make time for you.

How are you investing in yourself this year or month?
