Let Go Of What You Can't Control

Anyone who knows me can tell you I spend every minute overanalyzing  situations, decisions, and big life events. Even if I have no control over the outcomes. It's just part of who I am. However, I do realize it's a waste of time and energy contemplating every possible outcome in my life both good and bad. The people close to me are quite the opposite they go with the flow. They can make decisions then say "It'll work out, and if it doesn't then we'll figure it out when we get there."

Sometimes it drives me insane because I'm the type of person who always needs a backup plan and a backup plan for that backup plan. When I look at the "go with the flow" people in my life I envy them in ways. I want to be able to do that, make a Plan A and Plan B then be okay with whatever happens. I want to learn to let go of what I can't control and only over analyze the things I can. It's a tough habit to break but it's something I want to work on. I think this could help better my anxiety as well. So it's worth working towards.

Are you a go with the flow person or do you tend to overanalyze?
